salutations. hola. wingapo.
today was the last day of school. totally excited. today was also my math final. totally not excited. but luckily that was the only class today, so i got out of school at nine thirty.
as soon as school was over, kati and ally and i took the bus to the transit center, then took another bus to the mall. we went to ihop for breakfast. i got an appetizer sampler. the chicken sucked. the service sucked. our waiter sucked. we left him a one dollar tip. geez.
after ihop, we all went to the mall and kati got her hair cut, and ally and i got some cute sunglasses. two for ten dollars. score.
we went out to the bus stop by the mall and waited twenty minutes for the bus to come. we were walking around on the railroad tracks, watching carefully for trains, when a bus came. wasn't ours. so we walked around on the tracks some more, and some old lady in her car yelled at us for being stupid and endangering our marvelous lives. pfft.
so finally our bus came. and went. and we weren't on it. i was super-tired of waiting, so i decided to flag down the next teenage boy with a truck and hitch a ride. then i finally got the bright idea to call my sister to come pick us up. she just got her license yesterday. which means she couldn't drive kati and ally. they aren't family. of course, she wasn't gonna get pulled over, so it would be fine, but no. so we all made a unanimous decision to catch the next bus and go wherever it decided to take us. we got totally tired of waiting. well, the next bus took us to the plaza downtown. we wandered around riverfront park for a bit, then walked back to the plaza and hopped on the bus to take us back to kati's. the ride probably took us like a half hour.
i was falling asleep on kati's shoulder.
we dropped ally off at her house while we were walking to kati's, then when we got there we put in pocahontas and kati and i basically recited the movie. goodness. then i watched part of mulan, then anastasia while kati slept on her living room floor.
kati's mom came home and took us out to subway. i had never been there before, and whenever someone found out i had never eaten subway, they freaked out and acted like i should be jailed. because apparently it is a federal crime to not eat subway.
we went to fred meyer's and went grocery shopping, and we bought skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. then kati's mom took us to kati's boyfriend's house, just to bring him and his mom ice cream sandwiches.
so we came home, and now i am here.
rewind.

rewind.
when we were at the railroad tracks, i found a railroad stake that had been cast aside, so i put in my purse. just in case. no, just because it would be cool. i have no idea what to do with it, but...
a little while ago i went to the no stank you website and ordered my free t-shirt. well, i got it yesterday, and it just so happens that kati and i got the same t-shirt, so we planned last night to match and wear them to school today. we wore them all day, it was rather entertaining.
and rewind again...
when we were at the mall, ally and i went to the candy place while kati was getting her haircut and bought some delicious chocolates. i hadn't had any any real chocolates in quite a while. i mean, we had a huge flippin' box of chocolates at my house, but they were old and cheap and gross. so i enjoyed my chocolates. intensely. isn't that such a great word? chocolates. if you say it right, it feels so rich in your mouth, clicking in your throat and rolling off your tongue. the word itself is heavenly.
on my jeans, i decided to get creative. they are my favorite pair of jeans. i got a hole in the butt a few weeks ago, so i ironed a patch into it. it was flapping off at school, so kevin's was just like "i'll rip it off. it won't be that noticeable." so rip it he did. hugely. i had to pull my shirt over it, grab the flipping stapler, and go to the bathroom to staple shut the nice big hole in my pants. and let me tell you something. having staples dig into your bottom for three hours is not pleasant. at all. so i had to go to the bathroom again and put masking tape on the inside over the staples. like three layers of it. and each strip had to be like three inches long, because it was a big hole. anywho, i fixed that, got a nice-looking hole in the crotch, fixed that, and now i love them. my sewing machine stitches are pretty b-a, and my bright-colored thread is very noticeable. so they are pretty awesome. today, i decided to doodle on them. they now feature a black heart, six black stars, a black flower, and a black sun/starburst/spiky thing.
my bottom kind of hurts. i am typing this now at kati's, and she was making fun of me for super-blogging. i can't really help it if i feel the need to share every detail of my "interesting" life on this website, on a strange blog that no one will read.
and now, a quote.
