been awhile...

since i've last posted. i apologize.

marching band is over. i'm happy and sad at the same time. of course, winter drumline is coming up, which i've heard is way cooler than marching band. so we'll see...

my new favorite author is dean koontz. i just started reading him about two weeks ago, and i've already read "the door to december", "phantoms", "the house of thunder", and i've just started "the bad place". his writing is super intense.

so i think i need some clothes. alex's mom just sent us a package from germany, mostly consisting of chocolate, goodies, and some awesome little kiddie toys that we don't understand, but i got a shirt that has a little red and white mushroom on it, a good luck mushroom, and it says good luck in german underneath. it's pretty cool.

so for debate, i'm doing a duo about god, lucifer, adam, and eve, which is slightly humorous; it's called "creation of the world and other business" or some such title, by arthur miller, and i'm doing a dramatic interp about this couple deciding whether or not to get an abortion although the characters never actually say that's what they're talking about. and they are nameless. it's called "hills like white elephants" by ernest hemingway.
i think ernest is a torturous name to bestow upon your child.

so i am in need of a good cry. unfortunately, i have not been able to bring myself to cry for quite the while. the tears won't fall. unless i'm in pain...but i've been trying to stay away from that course of action. so i'll just keep it bottled up for now. making a mary-molotov cocktail, and hoping someone lights my fuse...

i should like to start a bottle collection. and paint my bedroom, and make my bedspreads, and make a bookshelf, and create a clock and a lamp. i like making things.

so i might go on a diet soon. it's for people who have muscle, hidden under some stomach cushioning, like i do. so i'm going to give it a try...

i have found myself drawn to...interesting music lately. one of my current favorite songs is "supermassive black hole" by muse. it's pretty intense, you should check it out. fo sho.
the music video is a little scary.

so i want to learn how to play snare or quads, which are really intimidating, so maybe snare...and i need to learn to march. because my marching is probably worse than my drumming will undoubtedly be. ah, well...

i think i will be done for now.

"i thought i was a fool for no one.
oh baby i'm a fool for you.
you're the queen of the superficial
and how long before you tell the truth."
-muse, supermassive black hole
